Charlotte Mégardon
Introduced to the art of dance at an early age, Charlotte Mégardon naturally decided to focus her career on this discipline. At the age of 17, she entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, before continuing her training at CobosMika SEEDs in Spain, where she had the chance to collaborate with Akira Yoshida, Jos Baker and HUMANHOOD. It was here that she discovered her keen interest in fluidity, movement flow and the nuances of texture that characterize her dance. In 2021, Charlotte joins the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, where her passion will gain in depth and maturity. What’s dearest to her are the encounters the dance world has given her, which have shaped who she is today. Fascinated by movement, Charlotte is constantly on the lookout for textured, raw dance, exploring the body in all its nooks and crannies. She loves to be challenged, whether physically or cerebrally, and displays great precision in her dancing as well as a fine understanding of the body. She aspires to continue her development as a performer and is ready to enter the professional world of contemporary dance with confidence and eagerness.
