Léa Boudreault

Léa Boudreault is an artist whose path has always reflected her deep connection to movement. Nurtured by a great curiosity, she explored gymnastics, athletics, swimming, drawing and music from an early age. At the dawn of the pandemic, she discovered her true passion for dance while confined to her basement. Admitted to the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, she finally experienced dance at its full amplitude and allowed herself to consider it as a professional avenue.
Her art is influenced by her commitment to being a socially responsible artist, and reflects her burning desire to experience change. She seeks to understand the complexity of the human experience, making sense of it first in her imagination and then bringing it to life in the concrete world. Her path involves constant research, both on herself and on the current issues facing the society in which she evolves. Léa strives to capture the essence of her creative instinct through multidisciplinary artistic expression that pushes boundaries and defies convention.
