Philippe Dépelteau

Philippe Dépelteau

Based in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), Philippe works as a dancer, performer and collaborator in living arts. Deeply concerned by intellectual and somatic questions, his curiosity brought him to l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (2017-2020). There, he had the chance to meet and work with the inspiring Linda Rabin, Marc Boivin, Jamie Wright, Laura Toma, Peter Jasko, Andrew Harwood, Clara Furey and Frédérick Gravel, among others.
He is interested by contemporary dance and art, because of its relevance as an intuitive science and social view of humanity. Describing himself as a sensitive analyst, his movement proves Hannah Arendt right, when she says that thinking and being alive are one and the same.
