MONTRÉAL, DANCE CITY

Québec dance has earned a worldwide reputation for excellence thanks to its capacity to renew itself by going beyond the boundaries of genres, styles, trends and disciplines. Montréal has thus become a top dance destination.
Many Montréal stages present dance programs. Students can enjoy shows at Agora de la danse, Danse Cité, Danse Danse, La Chapelle, MAI, Place des Arts, Tangente, Usine C and at festivals such as Festival TransAmériques, OFFTA and La Serre, Quartiers Danses and Parcours Danse.

Living in Montréal

It’s often said that Montréal is the most European city in North America and that it’s creative, multicultural and has a good quality of life. Montreal has been named the number one student city in North America in 2018, and is the top city in the world to study and live (QS 2017).
The best way to enjoy Montréal is to:
  • Get a bike for the summer…
To appreciate the city’s various neighbourhoods – plus it’s good for you and the environment.
  • … and good snow boots for the winter

Outdoor events are very popular, so enjoy the cold season by being properly equipped.

  • Be curious about the cultural scene
There are many things to see in town, including many emerging artists and international festivals. Check out the schedules.
  • Visit parks and green spaces
That’s where it’s happening and where Montréalers relax.
  • Enjoy culinary experiences
Again, the choices are almost endless: whether organic, gluten free, international cuisine or fast food, bakeries and small restaurants are charming, affordable and located at every corner.

"BONJOUR-HI"

Montreal is a bilingual multicultural city. The school is proud to welcome students from different cultures as part of its professional training.
