FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Students registered for the professional program are eligible for the loans and bursaries offered by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l'enseignement supérieur. Financial assistance is also available at Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
LODGING
Résidences universitaires UQÀM, EVO Montreal, or The MARQ, or lists available at the suite A3.32 in the cégep du Vieux-Montréal.
HEALTH SERVICES
Students can consult a Sports medecine doctor at the School. This weekly service is free of charge. Through a partnership with Kinatex Clinic, students receive professional osteopathy and physiotherapy services on site at an affordable price.
Also, a social worker is present at the School several days a week for free individual consultations with students.
TRAINING ROOM
MEDIA CENTRE
The Candace-Loubert media centre of the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal houses a collection of more than 5,000 documents, which include reference works, videos, monographs, periodicals, CDs, DVDs from the Quebec repertory from the 1950s to recent times. More info
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Several activities enable students to become familiar with the dance community elsewhere in Quebec and in North America through exchanges with other schools. Some other activities offered at the School include biennial trips to New York and Toronto, and participation in several public events or festivals, which give students the opportunity to perform. Master classes are offered regularly. The School also offers its students free tickets to contemporary dance shows.
ADESAQ
The Association des écoles supérieures d’art du Québec mission is to promote, organize and maximize the exchange of information, activities, teaching skills as well as other expertise between its members which include ten institutions in the fields of dance, theatre, music, circus, digital and video arts.
