Alexandre Carlos
Alexandre has been training in a variety of styles since 1996. In 2010, he graduated from the l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and continued his development by following several internships, including the LAUNCH with the NW Dance Project in Portland in 2018 and Springboard Danse Montreal in 2010.
From 2010 to 2016, Alexandre worked for Cas Public and he took the time to diversify by working with other choreographers such as Virginie Brunelle, Peter Chu, Geneviève Dorion-Coupal, Kyra Jean Green, Emmanuel Jouthe, Anne Plamondon, Tedd Robinson, Pierre-Paul Savoie and Andrew Skeels. During 2019, he dances for projects with the 7 fingers, the Cirque du Soleil and the Opéra de Québec. Alexandre is part of the duo Alex & Alex, finalist of the second season of the show Revolution and finalist of the 15th season of La France a un incroyable talent.
Alexandre has been choreographing, teaching and giving workshops for various schools in Quebec since 2006. Alexandre signed his first creation, Bourrasques, presented in September 2015 during the Festival Quartiers Danses. He is co-choreographer and interpreter with Roxane Duchesne-Roy for the short film Carte Mère under an opus by Catherine Major.
