Clara Truong

A native of the Paris region (France), Clara Truong is a passionate dancer whose choreographic language is rooted in a rich palette of styles, from classical to contemporary. Her interpretation, driven by an instinctive presence, reflects a profound quest for expressivity, where each movement becomes a true manifestation of her identity. Through her body in movement, she seeks to tell, question and move, making dance a visceral and profoundly human means of expression.
Trained at the Conservatoire de Villejuif, then at the CRR de Boulogne-Billancourt, she perfected her art at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM). She has performed on prestigious stages, from the Parvis de l’Hôtel de Ville in Paris to Place des Arts in Montreal, in demanding works such as Boléro X by Shahar Binyamini. Her career has been enriched by significant encounters with renowned choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Ohad Naharin and Hofesh Shechter, who have nurtured her artistic vision.
Clara explores dance as an organic language, oscillating between raw explosion and contained intensity. Her choreographic universe plays on contrasts to give shape to emotions in their purest state. For her, dance is much more than a performance: it’s an intimate dialogue with the body, a space where sensations and emotions come to life unfiltered, in a constant search for authenticity.
