Elouan Gourvennec

A graduate of the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM), Elouan Gourvennec has become familiar with many styles, from Bollywood to jazz and ballet. He has a keen interest in both the virtuoso physical body and the everyday, authentic, and poetic body. Elouan deeply believes that it is through movement and community that individuals truly realize themselves as human beings. Passionate about philosophy and life, he is drawn to in situ work and created a solo piece for the lobby of the Théâtre Maisonneuve in Montreal (2026) as part of his training at the EDCM. He is moving toward this form, in parallel with his work as an independent performer.
