Ezra Guerrier

Ezra Guerrier (they/he) grew up in a family passionate about movement, and this interest quickly manifested itself in him from an early age. At the age of 7, he began his training at Montreal’s École de danse Louise Lapierre, where he fell in love with the diversity of dance styles explored, including hip hop, jazz, contemporary and tap. Nine years later, he was accepted into the professional program at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, where he furthered his training in contemporary dance. As part of his training, Ezra explored the languages of such renowned choreographers as Ohad Naharin, Sofia Nappi, Crystal Pite and Catherine Gaudet, where he discovered his interest in theatrical exploration in dance. As an artist who also practices singing and music, the multidisciplinary approach to dance ignites him immensely. With all the knowledge he has acquired since graduating from his DEC in performance in 2025, Ezra’s career path is very open-ended, with a great deal of curiosity, and he projects himself as much in an experimental creative process as he does as a performer in a musical.
