Ludovic Germain-Thivierge

Ludovic Germain-Thivierge began his dance training at the age of 8, exploring a wide range of styles from contemporary to commercial dance, jazz, tap, street-jazz, ballet and more. After graduating in dance from the Cégep de Saint-Laurent, he continued his studies at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. There, he perfected his skills and encountered the work of influential choreographers such as Ohad Naharin and Shahar Binyamini. The work of choreographers such as Sofia Nappi, Amaia Elizaran and Dana Gingras has particularly influenced his approach to dance. Ludovic stands out for his quest for bodily versatility. He is particularly interested in virtuosity and contrasting textures in movement. His wide range of influences enables him to juggle different styles, adding depth to his interpretations. In addition to his career as a performer, Ludovic teaches dance to children, teenagers and adults of all levels and styles. He is also program manager for children’s classes at Louise Lapierre Danse.
