Oly Dion

As a child, Oly Dion was introduced to Judo, breakdance and urban dance, developing a keen interest in mastering the body in movement. Their passion for dance led them to study at the Cégep de Drummondville. After falling under the spell of contemporary dance, Oly chose to train professionally in Montreal with the ambition of making a career of it. Through their dance training at UQAM and the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, they experienced significant artistic development as a performer. This apprenticeship fueled a deep desire to create, and as a result, five original works have been signed, testifying to the evolution of his artistic practice. Oly completes their training at EDCM and enters the professional world with the determination to embark on an ever-renewed quest for art.
