The École de danse contemporaine de Montréal is holding auditions for its 3-year professional training program in Contemporary Dance-Interpretation (Diploma of Collegial Studies, DEC 561.BB), starting in August 2026.

Every year, a jury recruit young dancers from across Canada and abroad. The audition is divided in two steps:

1/ First round audition: please fill the registration form before January 8th, 2026 at 11.59 p.m. (Eastern Canada time)
Two options:
> In Montreal, on January 23, 24, or 25, 2026
> Or by video : please include your video link to the registration form before January 8th, 2025 at 11.59 p.m.

2/ Second round audition: upon invitation on February 20-21-22, 2026

Registration fees: CAD $50 (approx. 33€)

About the Ecole de danse contemporaine de Montreal:
Specializing in contemporary dance training, the École de dance contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM) has positioned itself as a centre of excellence in the Canadian performing arts community.
