Rosalie Boivin
Cours récréatifsOriginally from Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada, Rosalie Boivin focused on deepening her knowledge of classical, jazz, and urban dance techniques. At the end of high school, she joined the 2021-2024 cohort of the professional training program at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. These three years were marked by the development of her uniqueness and authenticity. During her training, she took part in several creative processes and also participated in the reconstruction of repertoires by choreographers Ohad Naharin, Dorotea Saykaly, Stephanie Lake, and Sylvain Émard. In addition, she developed an interest in choreography and cinematography through the creation of dance videos as part of the Incubateur projects at the EDCM. A recent graduate, Rosalie is a curious artist who wishes to continue to perfect her multidisciplinary skills, her technical abilities, and her desire for creation and collaboration. She was recently seen on stage at Usine C in Nice Try (belessai). Finally, Rosalie is putting on her choreographer’s hat by taking part in several creative residencies in order to develop her own choreographic signature. Photo: Julie Artacho |
