Noémie Pino-Buisson

Noémie Pino-Buisson is a contemporary dancer based in Tiohitia:ke/Montreal. After training in dance at the Académie Ste-Thérèse and Collège Montmorency, she completed her studies at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM) in 2026. These different stages allowed her to develop a solid technical foundation and a constant curiosity for movement. Throughout her training, she had the opportunity to participate in creative and repertoire projects with several choreographers, such as Paco Ziel, Virginie Brunelle, and Victor Quijada, who had a particular influence on her. She regularly supplements her practice with intensive workshops, demonstrating her keen interest in street dance-inspired movement and her versatility through the exploration of various styles. She is involved in various professional projects as a director, choreographer, and performer. Among these, she directed, choreographed, and performed in the short film WEIRD FISHES (2025), and co-directed, co-choreographed, and performed, alongside her colleague Laia Molina, in the short film NINAS DE LAS DUNAS (2024). Noémie is interested in physically engaged, present, and authentic movement. Driven by a keen curiosity, she aspires to deepen her research, to cross various artistic worlds, and to allow herself to be transformed by future encounters and experiences.
